Faith meets storytelling:
Arise Africa Arise
Shine the land of Africa shine
Your faith is my health
Your story is my power
As I listen to your story
I gain more strength
As you climb the highest mountain
My faith also follows suite
I take pride in being an African
I gain more strength in revisiting my past
My faith is renewed every day
As I look back where I have been
The impossible becomes possible
The untold stories become the reality
Through faith we achieve our goals
Through storytelling we heal our wounds
The best time to release your voice is now
The best time to know your worth is now
The best person to tell your story is you
The best weapon to achieve this is faith
When you think it’s the end of life
When you see your dreams perish
Then faith comes in to strengthen you
And storytelling becomes your weapon to conquer the world
FAITH MEETS STORY TELLING: Uniting African Voices To Impact Lives To God.
I heard a shout in the North which resounded in the South.
The South bounced it to the West and the West zapped it to the East.
The four points of Africa was saturated with this unifying booming voice.
It is the voice of hope across Africa and beyond.
It is not just an ordinary voice but a voice of hope.
It is not only hope but hopelessness lifted.
It is not only lifting but befitting the King’s buffet.
It is the voice of hope across Africa and beyond.
It is a banquet at the King’s table.
It is a table full of His choice spiritual buffet.
It is an experience of more than enough.
It is the voice of hope across Africa and beyond.
Whether Nyama Choma from Kenya or Muchomo from Uganda with Matoke.
Whether Nsenene with Matooke in Kampala or Ewa Aganyin from Nigeria
Whether or not from South Africa.
It is the voice of hope across Africa and beyond.
How can I remain silent when the salient must be voiced?
How can I repeat an error when an era must be voiced?
How can I remain mum when mom must hear?
How can I not repeat for daddy?
How can this voice not be voiced?
It is the voice of hope across Africa and beyond.
In the morning it is done.
In the afternoon it is done.
In the evening it is done.
In the night it is done.
In the middle of the night it is done
It is done. Can’t you see it is done!
It is the voice of hope across Africa and beyond.

*Faith Meets Storytelling: Uniting African Voices to Impact Lives for God*
“Voices of Africa, rising high
With faith that shines like the morning sky
Stories of hope, of trials and strife
Uniting hearts, a witness to life
From savannas to cities wide
The gospel spreads, a love inside
Through tongues and tribes, a common call
To stand as one, for God’s great hall
Ananse’s wisdom, Mandela’s might
The courage of mothers, through darkest night
Their testimonies, a burning fire
Guiding lights, on Africa’s highest desire
With every word, a soul revives
In Jesus’ name, hearts thrive and strive
From Cape to Cairo, coast to coast
Faith and story, an unstoppable boast
Weaving tales, of God’s great love
African voices, rising above
Breaking chains, and tearing walls
Uniting all, in God’s great calls
Our stories told, with faith aflame
A continent awakened, with Jesus’ name
Impact lives, for eternity’s sake
Africa’s voices, for God’s glory make
Rise, Africa, and let your voice be heard
With faith and story, a new dawn is stirred
For God’s kingdom, we stand as one
Uniting voices, the victory is won.”

Faith meets storytelling; Uniting African voices to Impact lives for God
In small town of Bobonong, nestled between rolling hills and vibrant green fields, a diverse group of individuals came together, each carrying their own burdens, dreams, and talents. They were doctors, lawyers, police officers, teachers, students, artists, and laborers, but above all, they were united by a common purpose: to make a profound impact for God in their community.
The movement began on a rainy Sunday morning after a missionary who had come as a guest to Pastor Paul delivered an impassioned sermon about the power of unity in the Body of Christ. He spoke of how, together, they could reach those who felt lost or alone and how their collective efforts could transform lives. As the congregation listened, a spark ignited within their hearts when they heard of the missionary’s personal testimony, how he was moving from country to country with the support of those who have never set their foot in Africa but have a genuine burden and love for the continent.
The message they heard prompted them to make introspection and they realized that their individual strengths, when combined, could create a force of good that could ripple far beyond their town. They were so challenged that others have been coming from far to do something which they were capable of doing or better still had potential to do.
After the service, a small group gathered in the church hall, energized by the pastor’s words. They shared their visions: Sarah, the local teacher, spoke about creating a mentorship program for at-risk youth. David, a passionate artist, envisioned an art therapy initiative to help heal the emotional wounds of those in the community. Maria, a nurse, advocated for health clinics that would offer free services to those in need. Each idea was met with enthusiasm, and as they brainstormed, their ideas began to intertwine, forming a tapestry of hope.
With determination, they set out to form “Ray of hope,” a coalition designed to serve the community with love and compassion. They organized weekly meetings, inviting others to join, and soon, the initiative grew beyond their expectations. Friends, families, and even strangers came together, all eager to contribute their skills and time. Their unity in diversity made them such a marvel in the small town they hailed from.
As the weeks passed, the group organized various events. They hosted community clean-up days, where they not only beautified the town but also shared meals and laughter. They arranged art workshops for children, allowing David’s creativity to inspire the next generation. Maria led health seminars that educated families about nutrition and wellness, while Sarah’s mentorship program flourished, pairing students with caring adults who encouraged their academic pursuits.
One evening, as they gathered around a bonfire after a successful community festival, they reflected on the incredible journey they had embarked upon. They shared stories of lives transformed—children who had found their passion, families who had received much-needed help, and friendships that had blossomed in unexpected places. They realized that their unity had not only impacted their community but had also deepened their own faith and personal connections resulting in strong bonds that could not be easily broken.
The exploits of Ray of hope grew exponentially to the extent that their influence spread to the surrounding villages and also major towns with many souls and lives being transformed.
What started as a small spark became a movement that affected surrounding areas as spiritual, social, physical and economical needs were being met because of a small group from a small town that chose to put action to their faith just like the four men who brought a paralytic man to Jesus. They were so determined to travel carrying him and did not tire or leave him on the way but rather went all the way even risking their own lives just to ensure that lives were informed, inspired, ignited, illuminated, impeccable, imparted and impacted.
Gathered in this auditorium for this prestigious award ceremony is a group of diverse authors and would be authors from different backgrounds and nationalities who has the capacity to raise the African voices to impact the world with the gospel.
Faith meets storytelling; Uniting African voices to impact lives for God
United to Impact Lives for God
In a valley where shadows danced with despair,
Dry bones lay scattered, stripped bare,
Whispers of hope in the stillness sighed,
“Come forth, arise!” the Spirit cried.
From the ashes of loss and forgotten strife,
A vision awakened, the promise of life,
Bone met bone, as hearts intertwined,
An army of faith, in purpose aligned.
Four lepers stood at the city’s edge,
With courage ignited, they made their pledge,
“Why sit we here, in hunger and fear?
Let’s venture forth, for the dawn is near!”
They stumbled upon treasures, a banquet delight,
Good news of abundance, breaking the night.
Their voices carried, the tidings proclaimed,
Hope sprang forth, lives forever changed.
In the tapestry woven of age and of youth,
A bond of compassion, a chorus of truth,
Naomi and Ruth, through trials they trod,
Elizabeth’s laughter, a song from God.
Together they flourished, a legacy shared,
In unity’s embrace, their spirits bared.
The old passed wisdom, the young brought the fire,
A symphony rising, lifting hearts higher.
United we stand, a diverse, vibrant throng,
In the name of our Savior, we sing one song.
For dry bones can flourish, lepers can rise,
When love binds our hearts, we’ll touch the skies.
With hands clasped in faith, in the power of grace,
We’ll impact the world, bringing hope to each place.
Topic: Faith Meets Storytelling
With every page, a journey starts,
A tale of hope to touch our hearts,
From ancient scrolls to printed word,
God’s voice through stories still is heard.
Through CLC, the mission’s clear,
To spread the Word, both far and near,
With Christian books, we plant the seed,
Of truth and love, for every need.
Each book, a beacon, shining bright,
A guide through darkness, into light,
As faith and story intertwine,
God’s purpose in each line we find.
From village huts to city street,
The Gospel flows in stories sweet,
Uniting voices, hearts, and hands,
Across the breadth of many lands.
For faith in words can set souls free,
Bring sight to blind, help hearts to see,
And with each story, lives are changed,
By Christ’s great love, so unrestrained.
So let us tell, let books take flight,
To spread His truth, to share His light,
For in each story, God is near,
Impacting lives year after year.
Faith Meets Storytelling
Beneath the baobab’s ancient shade,
Where tales and truths are gently laid,
A voice rises like morning’s grace,
Uniting hearts in time and space.
The elder speaks with wisdom’s might,
Of prophets’ dreams and heaven’s light,
Of journeys far, and battles won,
Of how God’s love shines like the sun.
Through stories carved in African earth,
Faith springs anew, fresh as birth,
A thread of hope, so tightly spun,
In every tribe, we stand as one.
The Bible’s truth in whispered lore,
Meets tales our grandmothers once bore,
A bridge of faith, from past to now,
Uniting souls in humble bow.
For every word, in truth and deed,
Is planted like a gospel seed,
To grow and stretch, beyond all strife,
And bear the fruit of eternal life.
So let our voices rise and sing,
Of faith and love in everything,
For storytelling, hand in hand,
Will spread God’s light across this land.
