This month, we aim to help children explore their creativity and imagination by writing a book or contributing to a book. Encourage your writer child to write and your designer or illustrator child to illustrate, or even do both.
We will carefully consider every entry. While only one book cover and one story will be selected for this competition, your child’s work can be further developed and published as their own book.
After reading the story of the four cousins, what your child can do:
a. Complete the second part of the story ie the ending.
The best story ending will be published and your child will be Dr. Muthoni Omukhango’s co-author.
b. For designers/illustrators, decide on the title of the book and:
(i) Do a front cover digital design or illustrations. The best will be adopted to be the cover of the book.
(ii) Do the illustrations of the book, one per chapter. The best will be adopted.
(iii) Do bookmarks designs for the book. The best will be adopted.
