Join the CLC Kenya/ACABA Volunteer Team!

Are you passionate about advancing God’s Kingdom through literature and empowering others? CLC Kenya, in partnership with the African Christian Authors Book Award (ACABA), is inviting dedicated volunteers to join us in making an eternal impact. By committing 1 hour every week to one of our virtual committees for one year, you can be a part of a life-changing mission.

Our Virtual Committees

We have a variety of committees that cater to different skills, interests, and callings. Choose the one that aligns with your passion:

1. CLC Kids & Teens Ministry
   Support the next generation by engaging in programs that inspire reading, writing, and spiritual growth among children and teens.
   Team Leader: Dr. Muthoni Omukhango 
   Time: Every Monday 5-6pm 
   
   
2. Gala Production
   Help us create unforgettable and spirit-filled award galas that celebrate Christian authors and inspire attendees.
   Team Leader: Nicholas & Mercy Odhiambo 
   Time: Every First Monday 8.30-9.30pm 
   
   
3. Partnerships
   Build relationships with like-minded individuals, organisations, and sponsors to strengthen our mission.

   Time: Every First Tuesday 5-6pm
   
   
4. Authors Training & Empowerment, Engagement & Retention
   Equip and support authors with tools, mentorship, and encouragement to help them thrive.

5. Events & Awards
   Plan and execute impactful events that celebrate authors and bring the community together for God’s glory.

6. Resource Mobilisation
   Join our efforts to raise funds, gather resources, and ensure the sustainability of our programs.

7. Media, Digital & PR
   Use your creativity to amplify our message through digital platforms, media outreach, and public relations.

8. Judges
   Be part of our support team to the panels of judges that review, evaluate, and honour exceptional works of literature in ACABA.

9. ACABA Chapters
   Help establish and coordinate regional chapters across Africa to expand our reach and impact.

   Time: Every First Friday 9-10am 
   
   
10. Prayers & Intercession
    Stand in the gap through prayer, covering our ministry, authors, and events with spiritual fortitude.
    Team Leader: Brian Prince 
    Time: Every Sunday 7.30-8.30pm
