What's Inside?

I have searched for God in my mind for a long time, through my tribal tradition, African tradition, the traditions of other races and creeds and came to know the true God through His Son Jesus Christ.
According to my tribal tradition, there is a god who gives rain and causes a good harvest of food. Mothers would hold their children and make them face the sun and mutter something to the sun saying “sun look after my child” in the belief that god is in the sun which never fails to rise from the east and move across to the west and rise again the following day and repeat its journey without fail. There is permanency in the sun which makes it appear like it knows what it is doing and never fails. So the sun was regarded as a god without whom all creatures would die.
Whenever rains failed, arrangements would be made to perform the rain dance, organized by a rainmaker and dance group to call for rain. They could dance the whole day and sometimes it would rain. There was belief in god or gods who would also be accessed through spirits of the deceased. It was believed that once somebody died, the spirit remained active hovering around and sometimes visiting family members at night now and then.
This caused sacrifices to be made to appease the spirits, some of who were evil. There was a belief in a greater god, who created heaven and earth, the stars of heaven, the seas and oceans and it was only those still alive who could access god.
It was after the arrival of Christianity that the traditionalists started to hear of another God who created heaven and earth and lives in heaven and through Him all things were made that were made.
I started to rethink about tradition and Christianity and started the search for God in a personal way.
I checked what others believed about God via Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Dharmists and Arya Sarmajists, Ahmadiyyas, Sikhists, Namadharis, Confucianism e.t.c and did not find God in all those religious groups.

I came back to the Bible where I found my God and the place of Jesus Christ my God and Saviour. Then I said my God, my God I now know you are real and you know me, tiny as I am in the universe and that you created all things, know all things many of which I cannot see and you have a Son Jesus Christ, whom you love and whom you sent to the world for the salvation of the world.
