Adia was so excited; it was the day her uncle Josh and Grandma were coming to visit. She was sitting on the couch with a blanket covering her neck. It was quite cold out that morning. She overheard Sunny and Mama leaving on their vacation.

They were going on vacation for two weeks. Adia was sad about that. She will miss them so much! She went into Sunny’s room and saw her packing with a frown on her face.

“Why do you look so upset, Sunny?” Adia asked

“I’ll miss you so much, Adia.” She said, giving her a hug.

Adia squeezed back and said, “I know you’re going to love Kenya.”

Kenya was their destination, it is in Africa. Suddenly, dark clouds rolled in, and Adia heard a CRACK!! Sunny got a notification on her phone that said their flight would be cancelled. A big storm was coming. Suddenly, it started to pour severely loud. They had to wait until the next day.

It was morning and Adia went with Daddy to get the car washed. Adia loved the rainbow soap at the end of the car wash. Then they went to the store to get mini mouthwash and hand sanitizer for Mama and Sunny’s trip. They also went to drop off a package for Mama’s friends in Kenya. When they got back, it was time to leave.

They put Sunny’s and Mama’s bags in the car. Adia let Garvi use her tablet. It had bbeen fifteen minutes and Adia was starting to get bored.

“Sunny, do you want to play I-Spy?” Adia asked her sister.

“Okay! I spy with my little eye…something……. Red!” Sunny replied.

Adia looked around. “The shiny bead on Mama’s necklace?”

“Nope!” Sunny said.

Adia looked around some more. “The car in front of us?”

“Nope!” Sunny said again.

Adia tried to guess one more time. “I know, my shirt!”

Sunny nodded her head. It had now been thirty minutes. Everyone was very hungry.

“Can we get chicken nuggets?” Garvi asked.

“We can stop by the restaurant and get some good chicken nuggets, that’s a great idea!” Daddy said.

He drove into the nearest cafe. A few minutes later, he came with food in his hands. He gave Adia Mac and Cheese. Sunny he gave a chicken sandwich, Mama a salad, and he got a wrap for himself! They ate and when Adia was done eating, they were already at the airport!

Sunny gave Adia a big hug and she squeezed Mama very tightly. They were out of sight and through the airport door. They waited at a gas station until their Uncle Josh was ready to be picked. However, Grandma did not know where they were, and they did not know where Grandma was! After all, Atlanta Airport was the biggest airport in the USA!

Uncle Josh saved the day and found her. They went into the car and drove to a pizza place not far off. Later, they went home and had a great time.
