Following recent translation and rights conversations connected to ECREF Poland 2026, CLC Kenya is exploring a new opportunity with SC Succeed Publishing SRL, a Christian publisher and printer based in Romania.
The conversation forms part of CLC Kenya’s growing translation vision: to see African Christian books move beyond borders, languages, and regions so that the wisdom, testimony, and biblical insight carried by African authors can serve the wider Body of Christ. As highlighted in CLC Kenya’s translation work, translation is not merely the changing of words from one language to another; it is the carrying of truth, discipleship, testimony, and transformation across cultures.
SC Succeed Publishing SRL is a family business with a heart for Christian publishing. Their Romanian expression, “books that go to the heart,” beautifully captures the kind of publishing that does more than fill shelves. It places meaningful words before readers who are ready to be encouraged, challenged, strengthened, and drawn closer to God.
For CLC Kenya, this possible partnership is especially encouraging because it reflects the continuing bridge between Africa and Europe through Christian literature. The Romanian market presents a fresh door for African Christian titles to reach new readers, new churches, new families, and new communities of faith.
Ten African Christian Titles Under Consideration
The titles currently being discussed for possible review by SC Succeed Publishing SRL are:

- Parenting Samson
- Too Busy for Worship
- Accountability
- Engaged & Productive
These books represent a rich range of African Christian thought and experience, covering discipleship, family life, marriage, parenting, purity, worship, productivity, leadership, calling, business, and practical Christian living.
They also reflect what CLC Kenya continues to champion through translation and rights conversations: African Christian authors carry messages that are not only relevant locally, but valuable globally. As CLC Kenya’s translation platform notes, translated books can reach new countries, speak into different cultures, create opportunities for rights partnerships, increase the lifespan of a message, and position African Christian authors on the global stage.
A Careful and Professional Process
At this stage, the conversation with SC Succeed Publishing SRL is still being mapped out. Areas under discussion include the possible arrangement, number of copies, language rights, format, territory, duration, print expectations, and one-off payment structure.
Once the partnership details are clearer, the authors of the ten selected titles will be contacted individually for approval before any PDF files are sent to SC Succeed Publishing SRL for review.
No manuscript or PDF will be shared without the author’s consent.
This careful process is important because translation work must honour both the mission and the rights of the author. The aim is not simply to move books quickly, but to steward African Christian content faithfully, wisely, and professionally.
From Africa to Romania
This potential Romanian opportunity is another reminder that African Christian literature is finding new pathways across the world. From Colombia to France, Korea, Hungary, Belarus, and now Romania, conversations around African titles continue to show that the global Church needs more than one centre of expression.
