African Christian publishing continues to make meaningful inroads into new regions, with encouraging developments coming from Latin America.

Following the 2024 translation of Marriage, Thistles & Flowers by Barnabas and Grace Achoki, CLC Colombia has affirmed that African content is finding resonance among readers in the region. Speaking in Kraków, Poland, Blanca Garzón, Head of Publishing at CLC Colombia, shared that the book is connecting well with Latina couples, a sign that biblically grounded African voices are speaking powerfully beyond the continent.

She further noted that Barnabas and Grace Achoki have remained highly engaged as authors, and that the visible impact of their marriage ministry in the online space has added strength to the reception of their work.

In another encouraging milestone, Dr Muthoni Omukhango, attending ECREF for the first time as an exhibitor, received the very first royalties paid through CLC Kenya/ACABA from CLC Colombia. Sharing her joy, she described the statement not merely as an income record, but as a seed, a hopeful beginning pointing to greater things ahead for Africa’s publishing witness among the nations.
