CLC Korea Considers Two African Titles Following ECREF in Poland

African Christian publishing continues to gain meaningful attention across international markets, with CLC Korea now considering two titles from Africa following discussions at ECREF in Poland.

The two books currently under consideration are:

  1. Conceive Achieve for Teens – Adnah McKenna & Julius Mwebia

  2. Accountability – Nelly Kagoru

The selection marks another encouraging step for African Christian content as it continues to find resonance beyond the continent. Picked during the ECREF conversations in Poland, these titles reflect the growing interest in faith-based books from Africa that speak with clarity, relevance, and strong biblical grounding.

This development is not only significant for the authors involved, but also for the wider African Christian publishing community. It signals that African voices are being heard, valued, and increasingly welcomed into global publishing conversations.

As discussions continue, we remain grateful for every open door and every publisher willing to engage with African content in a serious way. We pray for wisdom for CLC Korea as they review these titles and consider the possibilities ahead.

May this be another small but meaningful sign that the labour of African authors is not in vain. The seed is being sown widely, and in due season, the fruit will speak.

Note: The decision on the translation contract is still pending, and it has not yet been determined which title, if any, will receive the award. The official announcement will be made on 28th November 2026 in Nairobi at the annual BookFest. Kindly reserve the date.
