My journey began with a clean canvas of wanting to know how to write properly. I am not one to do things with imperfection – but rather prefer to do with excellence. Sometimes this is a hindrance but, in this case, I am writing a book that will outlive my own life, so really wanted to get it right.
I was referred to the CLC (Christian Literature Communications) writing class by a fellow author, Mrs. Gladys Juma, who is an old friend of mine. She advised me that this is the best place to begin.
Truly so, it has been a wonderful writing journey.
The classes were very clear, and the expectations well spelt out. This meant that with each class, you are able to see and know what work to do on your manuscript and are held accountable with every class. Personally, this has given me the confidence to keep moving and also know that I am in the right hands with my book. I am now at the end of the writing class and moving into the publishing class in the next couple of weeks and looking forward to publishing by the end of the year.
My gratitude goes to Dr. Muthoni Omukhango, Jackline Ingasian and the CLC team for the awesome work that you are doing in the vineyard of the Lord.
