CLC Kenya: Impacting Lives Through Christian Litterature

At CLC Kenya, we are committed to increasing access to books that positively impact communities for Jesus Christ. Our mission is accomplished through a range of initiatives, including:

  • Writing Mentorship: Guiding aspiring authors to refine their craft and tell impactful stories.
  • Traditional Publishing: Partnering with authors to produce high-quality, professionally published works.
  • Facilitation of Self-Publishing (Hybrid Publishing): Empowering authors to retain control while benefiting from professional support.
  • Print-on-Demand Services: Making books accessible to readers in cost-effective ways.
  • Kids and Teens Reading Programs, Writing Classes, and Publishing Cohorts: Fostering a love for reading and writing in the next generation.

We believe that books are more than pages bound together—they are portals to God’s wisdom and tools that stretch our minds beyond limits. They empower individuals, fuel personal growth, and spark transformation in society.

  • To Seekers of Growth: Somewhere on a shelf or in a digital library, there is a book waiting to be your friend and guide.
  • To Aspiring Authors: Write boldly and craft books that illuminate the path for others.
  • To Parents, Guardians, and Teachers: Nurture the writing talents of children early, planting seeds of creativity and purpose.
  • To Avid Readers: Keep exercising your mental muscles and expanding your horizons.
  • To Publishers, Book Agents, and Author-Enablers: Stay the course—you are essential to the movement of impactful literature.

Each of us plays a vital role in bringing these life-changing tools to the world. By supporting and promoting literature, we contribute to the spiritual, cultural, and intellectual growth of our societies and the continent at large.

Together, let us ensure that books remain a powerful force for knowledge, inspiration, and positive change.

In traditional publishing, the publisher bears the costs, such as editing, marketing, and paying advances so that the author can receive royalties from the success of his/her book achieves.
The self-publishing landscape has changed considerably in the past two decades with new technologies such as the Internet, and the $1 billion markets continuing to change at a rapid pace. Increasingly there are numerous alternatives to traditional publishing, and self-publishing is becoming the first choice for writers.
Print-on-Demand enables a single copy of a book to be printed!  Large commercial digital printers are very expensive but now technology has developed to the point that small scale equipment is available.CLC Kenya has a Print-on-Demand facility which enables us to respond quickly to local demands. This has made it possible for Kenyan authors to have their books published and printed in a way that would have been unthinkable previously. All that is required is a digital copy of the book and our Print-on-Demand department can produce the book for you.
Writing your book is a critical step towards getting published, which is the best way to share an idea or story that matters to you, while at the same time impacting the life of someone else. A simple book that you actually get to write is better than an awesome one that you dream of writing and is still in your head. Most people have a dream of writing a book but never realize it. This is why we are here today, now! To make sure that the book makes it out of your head into your word processor.    In this process, you should expect to get an accountability mentor towards completing your book.
