My name is Apostle Dr Jabulani Murove. I am an educationist, a pastor, a life coach and a Christian author. I am married to Pastor Belinda Murove, and we are blessed with a son.
What I Was Writing About and My Motivation
I was writing about Christian living, and my book title was The Total Christian Man. I was motivated to write it by the desire to reach out to people whom I cannot reach physically, but who can be reached through my writing.
This desire was stirred up by renowned authors like Dr Myles Munroe and many others whose writings continue to impact lives even when they are long departed.
Did I Encounter Writer’s Block?
Not really. However, if I had met it, the class lecture on the subject would have been enough to help me overcome it.
How I Handled Feedback During the Writing Class Journey
To me, feedback was part of learning. I therefore took it with the positivity it deserved, so as to produce much better writing.
How I Prioritised My Writing Journey and Other Commitments
To be frank, it was a tough time for me since I had a lot of other commitments, which included work, church and many others. I would always create a twenty-fifth hour to make sure that I wrote something.
My Experience in the Jade Writing Class
It was an enjoyable time. I actually now have the confidence to venture into many other writings after this one. The writing class has opened my understanding of professional book writing.
I will definitely recommend several other people to join forthcoming classes.
A Word for Aspiring Writers and Beginning Authors
Writing is enjoyable and doable when you get guidance and skills from a professional team or board like CLC.
I encourage aspiring authors to use the writing venture to impact other people’s lives, including those who are physically reachable and those who are unreachable to you. But first, seek to get knowledge and the required skills.
Closing Reflection
Apostle Dr Jabulani Murove’s writing journey is a beautiful reminder that books can travel where our feet may never go. Through The Total Christian Man, his desire is to reach, teach and impact lives beyond physical limitations, proving that with guidance, discipline and the right skills, writing can become a powerful tool for Christian influence and lasting ministry.

CLC Kenya Celebrates 16 Graduating Writers from the Jade Writing Mentorship Class
CLC Kenya joyfully celebrated the virtual graduation of 16 writers from the Jade Writing Mentorship Class, marking another milestone in raising Christian authors across Africa.
Facilitated by Jackline Ingasian and hosted by Dr. Muthoni Omukhango, the graduation brought together writers from Kenya, South Sudan and Zimbabwe who have completed manuscripts across various genres, including memoirs, marriage guidance, Christian living, parenting, children’s devotionals, inner healing, financial stewardship, leadership, and discipleship.
#Graduation Flip Book

During the ceremony, each writer shared their writing journey, the inspiration behind their book, and the lessons learnt through the mentorship process. The event also highlighted CLC Kenya’s wider mission of advancing the gospel through Christian literature, a mission connected to CLC’s global work across 44 countries.
The CLC Kenya’s Writing Class has continued to grow since its beginning in 2020, raising writers who are not only completing manuscripts but also preparing to publish books that will serve families, churches, communities, and nations.
The 2026 graduating writers were encouraged to move forward into the publishing and marketing phase, with the hope of celebrating their published works in 2027 with an in-person graduation set for 28th November 2026 at Garden Estate.
As the session closed in prayer and thanksgiving, the charge was clear: graduation is not the end of the journey, but the beginning of greater stewardship. These writers carry stories, testimonies, teachings, and messages that can impact Africa and beyond.
