When My Students Needed More Than Handouts, God Led Me to Write A Healing Workbook – Jane Wamucii

My name is Jane Wamucii. I am a mother and grandmother who loves and follows Jesus passionately. Each day, I live as a grateful recipient of His grace and mercy. I also serve as a Kingdom life coach, facilitator, and teacher.

What I Am Writing About and My Motivation

I am writing about inner healing because I desire to share my personal healing journey so that others may also experience restoration. The workbook, The Kingdom Inner Healing Course, was birthed from a need expressed by my students during an inner healing class I conducted in 2025. I initially launched the course based on my own experiences, knowledge, and testimony of the healing and renewal of my mind.

By the second week of teaching, I recognized the need for a structured workbook to replace handouts and screen presentations. I also realised that such a resource would serve as a personal journal, helping participants engage more deeply and intentionally with the healing process.

Did I Encounter Writer’s Block?

As I began organising content for each week, I encountered an unexpected challenge. Over the years, I had accumulated more than 20 journals documenting my healing journey, attended numerous seminars and coaching sessions, and read extensively on inner healing. The sheer volume of material left me feeling overwhelmed, unsure of what to include and what to leave out.

In that moment, I turned to prayer and asked the Holy Spirit for guidance. He gently reminded me that I did not need to include everything I knew, and that there would be other opportunities to write in the future. This brought clarity and freedom, allowing me to focus on what was most essential for this particular assignment.

How I Handled Feedback During the Writing Class Journey

The feedback I received from the JADE writing class has been invaluable. It helped me identify both the strengths of my manuscript and the areas that required improvement. I now feel better equipped to refine my work into a concise and impactful resource.

How I Prioritised My Writing Journey and Other Commitments

Writing the manuscript became a priority, especially since I was teaching from it weekly. In many ways, the responsibility to teach compelled me to dedicate long hours to writing and refining the content. The JADE class was particularly helpful, especially in its emphasis on research and crafting a strong conclusion.

My Experience in the JADE Writing Class

I also believe that I was divinely led to CLC. I first encountered Dr. Muthoni Omukhango through the YouVersion app while reading her Bible plan, The Divine Exchange. This connection came at a time when I had been praying for God to lead me to a Christian publisher.

The JADE writing class has been a significant part of that journey. The support, insight, and guidance I received gave me confidence and direction as I worked on my manuscript.

A Word for Aspiring Writers and Beginning Authors

I highly recommend this class to aspiring writers. It offers accountability, constructive peer feedback, and a supportive environment guided by experienced writers. The professional insight provided truly helps to elevate one’s work to a higher standard.

I believe this journey is a testimony of how God can use personal healing, faithful obedience, and the right support community to birth a resource that brings hope to others. For me, this process has shown the beauty of surrendering the writing journey to the Lord and allowing Him to shape both the message and the messenger.

CLC Kenya Celebrates 16 Graduating Writers from the Jade Writing Mentorship Class

CLC Kenya joyfully celebrated the virtual graduation of 16 writers from the Jade Writing Mentorship Class, marking another milestone in raising Christian authors across Africa.

Facilitated by Jackline Ingasian and hosted by Dr. Muthoni Omukhango, the graduation brought together writers from Kenya, South Sudan and Zimbabwe who have completed manuscripts across various genres, including memoirs, marriage guidance, Christian living, parenting, children’s devotionals, inner healing, financial stewardship, leadership, and discipleship.

During the ceremony, each writer shared their writing journey, the inspiration behind their book, and the lessons learnt through the mentorship process. The event also highlighted CLC Kenya’s wider mission of advancing the gospel through Christian literature, a mission connected to CLC’s global work across 44 countries.

The CLC Kenya’s Writing Class has continued to grow since its beginning in 2020, raising writers who are not only completing manuscripts but also preparing to publish books that will serve families, churches, communities, and nations.

The 2026 graduating writers were encouraged to move forward into the publishing and marketing phase, with the hope of celebrating their published works in 2027 with an in-person graduation set for 28th November 2026 at Garden Estate.

As the session closed in prayer and thanksgiving, the charge was clear: graduation is not the end of the journey, but the beginning of greater stewardship. These writers carry stories, testimonies, teachings, and messages that can impact Africa and beyond.
