The Repentance Message I Could Not Keep Silent – Nonhle Mbili

My name is Nonhle Mbili from Kloof, KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. I am 42 years old. I am a born-again Christian, married to Mac Mbili. We are blessed with three children, two boys and one girl.

I am the founder of a ministry called The Prayer Workshop. I am passionate about serving my generation.

The Book I Am Writing And The Motivation Behind It

I am writing a prayer book, and the main focus is repentance. The main purpose of this book is to teach the Body of Christ about repentance.

Repentance is misunderstood in the Church. People avoid repentance at all costs. My desire is to see more people understand the love of God and live a life of repentance, because that is where true transformation begins. That is where the glory of God is revealed.

Overcoming Writer’s Block

Yes, I did encounter writer’s block more than once. I really thank God for our group. They were the most supportive, and they became my biggest highlight in my writing journey.

Our leader, Jackline, really pushed us with patience, prayers, and understanding. She was God-sent.

I was also encouraged by the fact that I have a message from God that I need to share with His people.

Receiving Feedback During The Writing Class

The feedback was very helpful to me. It highlighted the importance of writing this book. It opened my eyes to see areas that I still need to improve.

Prioritising My Writing Journey

At first, I thought I would dedicate a whole day to writing, but that did not work. I then decided to spend at least an hour in the morning and another hour in the evening.

My Experience In The SA Pearl Writing Class

I really thank God for all the classes we had. They were very beneficial, very helpful, very informative, and very important for anyone who needs guidance in writing a book.

I learned a lot.

I would definitely recommend everyone I know who has a passion or is called to write a book to join a writing class.

My Word To Aspiring Writers And Beginning Authors

My advice would be:

  1. Know that your book is not just your idea, or just a book, but it is a message from our Father’s heart to His people.
  2. Please do not walk this journey alone. You need accountability partners, prayer partners, and destiny helpers. Writer’s blocks are real. The enemy will use anything to make you fail.
  3. Just write! Every day, write something. The minute you start writing, the words just start flowing. You get more ideas.

A Journey Of Obedience, Prayer, And Purpose

My journey in the CLC Kenya Writing Class has reminded me that writing is not merely about putting words on paper. It is about stewardship, obedience, and carrying the message God has placed in one’s heart with faithfulness.

Through the SA Pearl Writing Class, I received guidance, encouragement, accountability, and the strength to keep going. I am grateful to God for this journey, for the people He placed around me, and for the opportunity to grow as a writer who desires to serve His people through the message of repentance.

CLC Kenya Celebrates 16 Graduating Writers from the Jade Writing Mentorship Class

CLC Kenya joyfully celebrated the virtual graduation of 16 writers from the Jade Writing Mentorship Class, marking another milestone in raising Christian authors across Africa.

Facilitated by Jackline Ingasian and hosted by Dr. Muthoni Omukhango, the graduation brought together writers from Kenya, South Sudan and Zimbabwe who have completed manuscripts across various genres, including memoirs, marriage guidance, Christian living, parenting, children’s devotionals, inner healing, financial stewardship, leadership, and discipleship.

During the ceremony, each writer shared their writing journey, the inspiration behind their book, and the lessons learnt through the mentorship process. The event also highlighted CLC Kenya’s wider mission of advancing the gospel through Christian literature, a mission connected to CLC’s global work across 44 countries.

The CLC Kenya’s Writing Class has continued to grow since its beginning in 2020, raising writers who are not only completing manuscripts but also preparing to publish books that will serve families, churches, communities, and nations.

The 2026 graduating writers were encouraged to move forward into the publishing and marketing phase, with the hope of celebrating their published works in 2027 with an in-person graduation set for 28th November 2026 at Garden Estate.

As the session closed in prayer and thanksgiving, the charge was clear: graduation is not the end of the journey, but the beginning of greater stewardship. These writers carry stories, testimonies, teachings, and messages that can impact Africa and beyond.
